Faith Without Love Will Not Profit

The Cowardly Rulers Believed

John 12:42-44 - "Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God."

Faith Alone Is Dead

James 2:17 - "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."

The Demons Believed

James 2:19 - "Thou believest there is one god; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."

Faith Without works is Dead

James 2:20 - "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"

Not Justified By Faith Only

"James 2:24 - "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only."

Faith Without Works Is Dead

James 2:26 - "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

The Faith That Avails Must Work

Gal. 5:6 - "For in Jesus christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by love." Since the faith must "work" by love, before it will "avail," then "faith" cannot save the moment one has "faith," for there must be some time in which "faith" "works" before it saves - avails.
